This is a fully automatic pail filling system. The operator is there to start-up the system, as shown, and to place the lids onto the filled pails. A pair of horizontal air cylinders sequence in/out as an escapement on the infeed line. A photo eye locates the empty pails at the fill station. The computer automatically tares the container and fills the pail.

The filler has 2" diameter product valving for faster fill rates, an NTEP approved scale, a 3-speed fill cycle and an air operated telescoping mast to accommodate various size containers. The operator is available to use the lid crimping tool, hanging from the monorail, to secure metal lids. He will place plastic lids onto full pails as they convey by. Plastic pails enter the tunnel of the "On-the-Fly Lid Press" where lids are gently pressed on while transported throught the tunnel.
