These are called "Bag-In-a-Box" Fillers. Each is a standard Model DF-5540 machine modified to fill a plastic bag with a 2" diameter throat, placed into a container. The container may be a corrugated box, a plastic or metal collapsible IBC or another contaminate-free container. The corrugated box on the left is the easiest to fill. Simply press a button to insert the lance. The system on the right is more involved. A spreader bar with a cam-lock clamp is used in conjunction with the bag. It is placed across the width of the container to hold and lock the throat of the plastic bag in place while it is being filled. A scale mounted powered conveyor drives each pallet load on & off the fill station. Full containers will accumulate in-line or get immediately picked-up by a fork truck.
