Stainless Steel Drum Tipper

General Specifications

Designed to empty 30 to 60 gallon steel, fiber and plastic drums, this stainless steel, sanitary device is operated by twin pneumatic cylinders. It cycles every 20 seconds to empty 3 drums per minute. The Drum Tipper is typically used to supply products to hoppers or food choppers. It has a capacity of 1,000 lbs. Larger units with heavier capacities are available.

In operation, the full drum is conveyed to the Drum Tipper. The lid is removed, and when the operator activates the Tipper, the drum is rotated 135° to empty the contents. The Drum Tipper is designed with special hold-down tabs that prevent the plastic liner in the drum from falling into the hopper or chopper. After emptying, the drum is discharged to an outfeed conveyor.
