Empty Drum Accumulation Conveyors
Each system is designed and built to suit the type and size of drums. Typically, the amount of accumulation conveyor is designed to accept a full truck load of empty drums that are accumulated prior to a filling operation. The infeed conveyor is powered with air operated drum diverters and powered stripper rollers to transfer drums at 90° onto gravity roller accumulation lanes.

| The amount of decline to move a fiber drum is steeper than that for steel drums. However, steel, plastic and fiber drums can accumulate on the same conveyor so long as it is level, powered roller conveyor. In this application the different types of drums are separated onto gravity conveyors with devoted lines to save the cost of powered conveyors. |  |
